Buenas tardes,

La semana pasada llegamos de Costa Rica, del tour PURA VIDA, deseamos haceros saber que el viaje fue estupendo, todo sobre lo previsto, ni un solo contratiempo y a parte de ello y lo más excepcional fueron el guia y el chofer del microbus que nos tocaron, Minor y Berto, gracias a ellos el viaje que hubiera estado muy bién paso a ser EXCELENTE, francamente son unas personas encantadoras , super atentas y dispuestas a prestar sus servicios en cualquier momento, muy bien preparados en cuanto a cualquier tema del paisaje y fauna del país, y que además de todo saben sacar lo mejor de las persona formándose de ésta forma un grupo ejemplar, nuestra valoración es: mejor imposible. Por ello felicitamos a la persona que ha confiado en estos profesionales y deseamos les llegue nuestro agradecimiento.

wir möchten uns nochmal für den wunderschönen Urlaub in Costa Rica (for family) bedanken, zu dem du sehr wesentlich beigetragen hast! Wir finden, dass du super gut Deutsch sprichst und ein sehr großes Wissen über Flora und Fauna besitzt. Und natürlich warst du sehr, sehr nett - unsere ganze Gruppe hat dich ins Herz geschlossen! Besonders unsere Kinder!
Allerdings müsstest du das Lied \\\"La Cucaracha\\\" besser üben... .:) (Tirimbina Station lässt grüßen!) Wir haben sehr gelacht!

Fue perfecto, nos gusto mucho todo lo que vimos y a nivel de la gente de Mapache, todos os portasteis muy bien con nosotros, así que ningún reproche y evidentemente si alguien me comenta que quiere ir a Costa Rica, le pasaré vuestro mail.

Acabamos de pasar unos días en Costa Rica, via la agencia Nuba de Majadahonda. Teniamos especial interes en felicitarles por la organización del viaje, los sitios elegidos, y lo mejor de todo los guias, especialemnte Miguel Benavides, quien supo en todo momento atender nuestras necesidades y gustos, aparte de ser una persona excelente.
Ojala podamos volver algún día.

Ante todo queríamos darte las gracias por todo. El circuito, los hoteles, los lugares en los que hemos estado....todo, la verdad es que ha sido un viaje perfecto y mucho de ello se lo debemos a Mapache Tours y por supuesto a ti. Toda la organización del tour, con los horarios de los shuttles, las comunicaciones a los hoteles, te hemos tenido allí cuando hemos tenido que llamarte y preguntarte........muchas gracias de verdad. Creo que desde ahora Mapache Tours tiene una delegación comercial en Madrid, ya que lo recomendaré a todo el que me pregunte y con mucho gusto escribiré en el foro de viajes dónde saqué información de destinos hablando maravillas de vosotros porque lo merecéis, os habéis ganado la publicidad.

No sé cuando volveremos ya que hay muchas cosas en el mundo que ver y visitar, pero en mi interior está la idea de volver, incluso antes de regresar, sobre todo porque tenemos pendiente la visita del pacífico desde Manuel Antonio hasta Corcovado, por lo que igual dentro 3 ó 4 años recibes un e-mail solicitando información de una ruta por la zona y quién sabe si volver a los sitios que más nos gustaron.

Lo dicho Diego, muchas gracias por todo, y ya sabes, si pasas por Madrid acuérdate de visitar la delegación vuestra en España.

Fue excelente!!! increible!!!!! nos gusto muchiisiimo. La información dada por los guías y el paseo por el teleférico ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Espero en un futuro poder realizar otro tour con ustedes al volcán Arenal y quedarme un día, pues mi madre no conoce.

consideramos visitar Rio Celeste, recomendamos tanto al turista nacional como a los extrangeros no olvidar este destino, en este caso Heidi viajo desde Europa para mirar nuestra belleza natural; debemos valorar lo mucho que tenemos en nuestro pais.

Thank you and your fellow workers in Mapache Tours as well as for all other people from different transportation companies etc. for making our trip in Costa Rica enjoyable and easy. All the reservations for accommodation and transportation were without any problems and transportations were always in time so we did not have to wonder about possible misunderstandings about pick-up times and locations etc. Travelling can not be easier than it was back there in Costa Rica!

We enjoyed especially the Corcovado and snorkling in the waters of Isla del Cano. Trip to Tortuguero was also a great experience although many of the animals were "hiding" because of the heavy rain, well it is a rainforest! Laying on the Santa Teresa beach was a great way to end our tour. Not too crowded as you mentioned which is a great thing. I hope those places will stay as they are even though there will be probably more tourists arriving to Costa Rica in the future.

We started already planning our next visit to Costa Rica while we were still in there...hopefully it will be in next few years.

Asi como el nombre lo dice y es muy conocido La Suisa Centroamericana , no es porque es mi pais sino porque es la realidad uno de los mas preciosos paises del continente y lo precioso es la gente nuestra buen pero no tonta agradable pero no hypocrita sencilla y no orgullosa abierta a todos las personas sin diferenciacion de color ,religion edad, procedencia simplemente igualdad para todos. Una cosa muy importante todos encuentran un lugar en nuestro Corazon.

Soy Aurelia, estuve en vuestro país hasta hace 3 dias, os envio este mail para daros las gracias a todos, gracias por las gestiones que hicistéis durante mi estancia junto a mi hijo aquí en Costa Rica.
Gracias por la gestión de las maletas perdidas, gracias por la gestión del alquiler del coche, gracias realmente por todo, por vuestra gran atención, realmente me he ido con un gran sabor de boca pese a las “desaventuras” que nos han ocurrido a mi y a mi hijo. (no solo las maletas, ahora reimos, pero que te persigan avispas siendo novata encima un caballo no hace ilusión y perder las gafas tampoco y………..jejeje)


Muchas gracias y cuidad vuestro país que es bello y seria una lástima destrozarlo en 4 dias como ha ocurrido en la costa española.

Dear teams from travel-to nature and mapache tours,

Last October we had the pleasure of joining your costa-rica for families tour. We want to give you a short summary and evaluation. When we arrived in San Jose we were immediately picked up and well taken care for. All luggage was stored by your – or better our - guides Alberto and Jonathan. Already on the trip to the hotel in san jose we got a lot of useful information and got an impression of the warm and friendly nature of our two guides. The hotel was nice, the rooms were good and the food as well. On the following trips through Carthago, Poas, and up to La Fortuna we felt pampered. Both Jonathan and Alberto were not only incredibly friendly, they had a good sense of humor and soon picked up the open and friendly mood between all of us. We, that were a family with 2 kids, 13 and 11 and a family with 4 kids, ranging from 5 to 15, one of them with a handicap.

I must admit, I was somewhat sceptical, whether this wide range of ages and abilities would workout, but it happened to be just the opposite ! The mixture was a blessed learning experience for all of us. Alberto and Jonathan were so playful, considerate and fun to be with, all the children soon developed a great bond and “friendship” with them and so did we. Whether we all played soccer in a local park, went swimming, played cards or built sand-dolphins, it was as having an extended family, just without the usual quarrels. On all trips, both guides made sure that no one was driven beyond their limits, but had a challenge. They took care of the little one, if necessary, like on the canopy tour, and where never bothered by extra demands like a midnight trip with Alberto to the volcano for extra photos, or that Jonathan got up at 5 and went on an extra hike with my wife, and she still enjoys the memory of that early morning hike!. Alberto soon went into a German-Spanish language learning program with the kids and some of us and made an extra stop on the way to the airport to show us an animal project with jaguars, pumas etc.

As to the information on the trip, Jonathan proved to be a never ending source of information about the local animals and plants, both on the rainforest as well as in every other part of the country. The visited projects were carefully selected and well worth the visit. The tips for restaurants were excellent, giving that 6 kids were always present, close to amazing that there were no complaints. We learned so much about ecology from Jonathan that we actually believe to know more about the Cost Rica situation than the German one. Maybe we should book such a tour here as well.

The hotels were all very good. The best one was the one in La Fortuna. We had the cabins with direct view on to the Arenal, the pool was great and used from 6 in the morning and the personnel was very friendly showing us the hotel-specialities, like Tonto the crocodile or the sloth – those in the trees, not on the cabins. The food was again excellent and the owner was very friendly and even let us use his personal email. The Mapacheteam in La Fortuna also proved very helpful and supportive. The information before the trip was very good and the extra questions on the telephone were answered very family-oriented and competent.

All the other hotels and cabins were also nice, the one in Playa Hermosa gave good tips for a boat trip, and we enjoyed the totally unreal feeling of being in hot volcano pools in the middle of the forest in Quesada. The only suggestion for improvement in all the hotels and cabins would be, to install devices to hang your wet clothes over to get them somewhat dry in the cabins. It was the rainy season, so the cabins were decorated every evening with wet clothes all over the lamps, climate control and such. Some stands for that would help.

In short, the trip was absolutely marvellous and we have not stopped telling friends and colleagues about it. We also will go on another one in a year or two. One of the best assets of the trip were Alberto and his bus and Jonathan and his knowledge. We want to congratulate the organizers for choosing such wonderful personnel on top of such a memorable journey. Back in the usual hectic and hassles at work and school, the Costa Rica Trip is a refuge for us, to feed of the wonderful memories, although 3 months have already passed again.
