In the foothills of the Volcano Tenorio, we find one of the most incredible places in Costa Rica.

We start the day with an hour and a half drive to the National Park Tenorio Volcano.

This trail will take you to several points of interest: the amazing Celeste River Waterfall, the Blue Lagoon, the thermal water boiling pots, and the tenideros, the name given to the place where the river takes on its celestial color.

The guide will provide interesting information on why this phenomenon occurs, as well as information on the local flora and fauna.

We will finish up the day with lunch at a local restaurant, before heading back to your La Fortuna hotel.
